The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

With a B.S. in biology and chemistry I attended and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1967. Following an internship at the Bergh Memorial Hospital of the ASPCA in New York City I practiced companion animal medicine for 36 years before retiring. For 5 years I did volunteer surgery at the Humane Society in Pittsburgh. My wife,Lynn, and I completed courses to become Master Gardeners through Penn State Extension Services and have enjoyed a continuing commitment to this hobby. I am also a member of the American Conifer Society with a growing collection of specimens. Lynn and I enjoy traveling, including many trips to Europe and the Caribbean, especially tours conducted by Penn State's Alumni Travel program. We also like local and extended journeys on our Honda Goldwing trike, including trips to New Yorks Adirondacks and North Carolina and Tennessee. Two children, Beth and David, both Penn State grads in accounting received MBA degrees-Beth at PSU and David at New York University. We have three grandchildren-Reed and Ann in Sugarland, TX and Catharine in Honeybrook, PA.
